Savify: how Savify implements its business model with an AI platform
Savify is a Swiss provider of procurement optimisation.

About Savify
The company helps its clients reduce costs in indirect procurement, for example in logistics, facility management or office and operating supplies. To do so, Savify pools purchasing volumes and takes over analysis and negotiations with suppliers. Its fee depends on the savings achieved.
The focus is therefore on spending that enables day-to-day operations but does not go directly into manufacturing a product. Savify combines the analysis of this spending with operational procurement work: savings potential is not only identified but also realised through tenders and negotiations.
From procurement service to an in-house AI platform
Savify aims to support procurement optimisation with its own AI-supported platform. A central challenge is the varying formats and quality of the purchasing data and invoices provided by clients. This information has to be prepared and made comparable in order to identify savings potential and prepare tenders.
The platform is meant to connect these steps and reduce manual effort. The focus is therefore not a single AI application but the technical implementation of the processes on which Savify's service is based.
This results in one connected process: onboarding is the entry point for new clients, analysis creates the information base for procurement optimisation, and tendering prepares the approach to suppliers. AI helps make the incoming information usable for these steps and easier to prepare.
Nao Intelligence as product and development partner
Nao Intelligence translates Savify's business requirements into the design and development of the platform. The collaboration covers user interface design, frontend and backend development and ongoing operation. Nao takes on product ownership, technical leadership and operational responsibility. Delivery happens together with an international development team under Nao's functional and technical direction.
The task therefore goes beyond software development. Business requirements have to be translated into concrete product decisions and technically feasible features. Because responsibility is bundled, the perspectives of business model, user interface and technical implementation stay connected. Nao thus supports not only the build of individual features but also how they fit into the overall product.
A platform for the core steps of procurement optimisation
Today the onboarding of new clients, the AI-supported analysis of purchasing data and invoices and the tendering functions are in productive use. The business idea has become a platform that supports the core steps of procurement optimisation and is developed further together with Savify.
The current state therefore represents a concrete part of the business model digitally. It is also the basis on which Savify and Nao build further product development.
Nao understands our business and our processes at a depth I have rarely experienced, and combines that with real technical ability. Where others would build the standard solution, they come up with approaches we would not have thought of ourselves.
