Projects

From the first question to a system that runs every day.

A selection of our projects: from a data foundation in procurement to an agentic AI platform. We name clients where we’re allowed to. Otherwise we describe industry and task.

Case studies

A selection of our projects

Five projects with different starting points: a platform we’ve been running for over a year, a data foundation for procurement, getting started with AI in medical technology, a market analysis and a platform roll-out in the public sector.

Savify AG: AI-driven procurement optimisation

Over 12 months, ongoing
Starting point

Savify wanted to rethink indirect procurement: an AI-driven platform that automatically finds savings and carries the whole process, from analysis to negotiation. They were looking for the partner to build that vision technically and run it long term.

Approach
  1. Strategic concept
  2. UI/UX design
  3. Front- and backend development
  4. DevOps and operations

One team from strategy to code, built in our tech hubs.

Result

A complete AI-driven, cloud-native and GDPR-compliant platform, live in production as the system behind Savify’s service. With agentic AI: smart onboarding, AI analysis of spend data and invoices, automated tenders, autonomous negotiation agents and continuous spend optimisation.

Nao understands our business and our processes at a depth I’ve rarely seen, and pairs it with real technical skill. Where others build the standard solution, they show up with ideas we wouldn’t have come to ourselves.

Data & analytics · Metals industry · Procurement

Aluminium smelter, over 2,000 employees

Around 4 months
Starting point

Procurement runs on large volumes of SAP data, but the analysis was mostly done by hand in Excel: laborious, slow and never more than a snapshot. For solid price and supplier analyses and proactive steering, the continuous, automated data foundation was missing.

Approach
  1. Opened up and connected the SAP spend cube
  2. Built ETL pipelines
  3. Defined KPIs together
  4. Built dashboards, strategic and operational
Result

Solid KPIs, automated ETL pipelines and self-service Power BI dashboards: transparency over procurement at the push of a button instead of manual Excel work.

Getting started with AI · Medical technology · Munich area

OPED GmbH: Getting started with AI in medical technology

Initial project 6 weeks, ongoing support after
Starting point

OPED wants to make AI a natural part of everyday work, with Langdock as the central, approved platform and the goal of enabling its people. What it took: the step from ambition to concrete, prioritised use cases across all departments.

Approach
  1. Analysed processes and challenges in interviews and workshops, cross-functionally and per department
  2. Structured use-case ideas and assessed them by value, feasibility and data readiness
  3. Bilateral sparring with the responsible IT lead
  4. Moved prioritised use cases into delivery, operationalised the AI strategy
Result

A prioritised use-case map across the departments and a structured path to bring the AI strategy into everyday work step by step, flanked by Langdock as the central platform, governance and learning formats.

AI development · Automation technology · International

International specialist in automation technology

4 weeks
Starting point

The company’s core market, shaped heavily by the automotive sector, is changing structurally. Rather than wait, the company wanted to open up new growth markets early and needed a solid basis to decide: which markets are attractive, how are they developing, who are the relevant competitors, and what factors decide success? In focus: digital health, medical technology and drone technology.

Approach
  1. Set up an AI-driven deep-research pipeline: systematically open up, analyse and condense sources, with a traceable source base
  2. Analysed the markets: market size and development, trends, competitive factors and competitors per target market
  3. Condensed it into a basis for decisions
Result

A comprehensive market and competitive analysis across several future markets, at a level of detail that manual research could not have delivered in four weeks. A solid basis for strategic market-entry decisions.

AI adoption · Public sector

Public-sector organisation

Ongoing, in delivery
Starting point

Interest in AI among staff was high: many people were already using freely available AI tools in their daily knowledge work. What was missing was a central, vetted platform that served this need safely and consistently. So the organisation wanted to introduce AI in a deliberate, structured way: with clear security and data-protection standards, one solution for everyone and a plan to enable its people.

Approach
  1. Identified and prioritised use cases
  2. Set up and securely connected the platform: Langdock, RAG to the existing document world, roles and permissions, SSO
  3. Pilot phase: prioritised use cases delivered, key users trained
  4. Supported the roll-out, set up AI governance
Result

A central, vetted AI platform for the whole organisation: securely connected, with clear security and data-protection standards and a structured enablement and governance concept.

Status

The project is running: platform and first use cases in delivery, roll-out in preparation, governance taking shape.

Why Nao

What these projects have in common

You talk to senior experts

From the first meeting to go-live, you work with the same people. No handoffs to junior teams.

One team, from strategy to code

We think strategy and delivery together. That stops work getting lost between teams, prevents misunderstandings and speeds up every project.

Pragmatic over perfect

We start with a manageable pilot and build out what proves itself in daily use. You see early what works and only invest in what holds up.
